First Track Meet

Ellen attended her first track meet yesterday. Korey was able to bring her to watch me coach my boys to victory. Ellen loved all of the yelling and clapping and was very excited to be outside for so long. The weather was PERFECT! 62 and sunny! I didn't have to worry about Ellen getting sunburned or being too cold. Earlier in the week we were having record temperatures in the high 80s. Unfortunately Korey didn't get any pictures of Ellen at the track meet because he was taking care of her the whole time and therefore too close to her to get any pictures.

Ellen stood up all by herself for the first time at daycare today! Carmen was very surprised and said that Ellen acted very proud of her new accomplishment. She's learning so many new things, it's hard to keep up with her.

Toothless Grin

I think Ellen might be teething. She's 8 months old and still has no teeth. She has been grumpy the last couple of days, which is extremely unusual for her. Carmen, Ellen's daycare lady, wore her Grumpy shirt today for Ellen.

First Blog

Okay, I've never done this before but it seems to be all the rage and a good way to keep up with what's going on. I enjoy reading other people's blogs so I'll give it a whirl.
